“I love it, but my family’s a bit nervous.”

Totally understandable.
Firefighting is a dangerous job. We give you the best possible training to prepare you for intense situations.
And did you know retail workers have a higher fatality rate in the United States than firefighters?*

We welcome your families to attend drill ahead and encourage you to let them be your decision. Their support will be vital to your success as a firefighter.
